I collected my first data on galaxies four years ago with the Celestron EdgeHD 800 telescope. Back then, my acquisition and processing skills were not the best; the target sat low in the sky, the collimation was a bit off, and the mount was too small for the big scope - all in all, not the best circumstances for good astrophotography. Thus, I never really put effort into this relatively small set of data and eventually forgot about it. However, a few days back, I came across the raw files again and thought, why not give this image a chance? Slightly more experienced and with amazing new software tools at hand, I tried to make something out of this suboptimal dataset. The result is actually not that bad, no a masterpiece, but it's mine
